Looking at the dorsum of the panel, I run into the plastic rivets and they look pretty easy to drill out with a drill fleck. My question is... how do yous reattach the insert on to the door console once the rivets are gone? Most of the rivets are pretty curt, so I don't think screws would work. BTW, did you install your door panel insert? Door panel inserts? Ha! I've yet to even install the Clazzios themselves. In fact, it was all I could do yesterday to replace the horns... A minor point, the $23/thou^2 price is for vinyl, not leather. Ahhhh... possibly I could have gotten real leather if I had looked. Padded and perforated would probably have been more luxurious. My theory was the vinyl, if zilch else, was spare fabric. Edit: Not to mention, the OP is referring to leather. I got perforated vinyl for my Katzkin door panels and got hosed worse than that on price. That's not a bad price for small-scale amounts of perforated vinyl. I glued mine on on over the stock cloth door console, it feels pretty good considering the cloth underneath gives it a little actress padding. Katzkin's instructions say to glue it on over the door console cloth. The Katzkins came stock with un-perforated vinyl for the doors. Yep, the xs650 refers to the Brit like twin the didn't leak that was made by a Japanese piano company. Actually the engine appears to have been based on some obscure High german twin who's proper name escapes me right now. The engine was OHC, unit construction, horizontally split crankcase, didn't leak and had reliable electrics then it had nothing in mutual with Brit twins of the era other than being a vertical twin. I call up that's not a completely outrageous price if they guarantee their piece of work for the life of the door panel. There are lot of ways to spiral the job up and replacement door panels are expensive. reedprecand.blogspot.com Source: https://priuschat.com/threads/door-panel-leather-inserts.92100/ Share Post a Comment for "èâ¿âã¨â¡å’javaã¤â»â£ã§â Âã¦â€”ⶠPlease Check Your Installation and Try Again"
